New Email Feature in PubMed

PubMed continues to enhance its interface. A new email feature has been added to the database. To email your results click on specific citations, select Email from the pull-down menu, and then click the Send to button.

Users may email up to 500 items. Email options include: Format, Sort, HTML or Text. In addition, you may enter a message that will be included with the PubMed search results in the email.

After clicking the Mail button the system returns you to your search results page and displays a message confirming that the email message was sent.

Your results will arrive in your mail account with a "Subject" of PubMed Search Results.

Emailing citations is a great way to forward articles and abstracts to colleagues.
